Brief description : 

This talk will be the prelude to the review of Isham's pre-topos work. Will briefly introduce quantum theory from its standard basic postulates and highlight some of the (philosophical) problems that come with them. Will touch upon quantization procedure of turning functions on (classical) phase space into (quantum) operators. This transformation is the beginning of the story of what difference is there between classical physics and quantum physics and what mathematical structure needs to be transformed.
