Preparing for the Research Viva

This page contains information of value to research students, no matter what their specific discipline. The documents were originally prepared for a doctoral student course at Warwick Business School, in 1997. It has since been modified as a self-contained document, with accompanying Powerpoint presentation, for individual reflection and preparation.
The presentation is based on my own experience of preparing for my PhD viva in 1996. Advice comes in the form of my own reflections and those from of others at Warwick . The presentations provide some thoughts on how to prepare yourself.
